Nepali student spots signs of water on Mars

Those of us who regularly follow the news, whether on the internet, the T.V or print media, must have heard of the recent announcement by NASA about the possibility of water on Mars made through its press conference on August 4, 2011. However, I wasn't aware until today that the person behind this discovery was a Nepali, Lujendra Ojha. Lujendra Ojha is a 21 year old undergraduate student at University of Arizona studying Geophysics. Lujendra made the discovery while working as an Intern on an independent project with Professor Alfred McEwen. Following this discovery, he has been mentioned on several news channels and websites including MyRepublica. This is great news for all Nepalis and we should be proud of Lujendra. Good on you mate!
