Into Thin Air survivor returns to face Mt. Everest

Into Thin Air is a best selling novel by Jon Krakauer which chronicles the tragic story of 8 climbers' disappearance when a huge storm hit the team on Mt. Everest on May 10, 1996. Neil Beidleman, was a guide to one of the climbers who died. 15 years after surviving that fatal incident, Neil has decided to retrace his steps from 1996 which would take him from Kathmandu to Everest's South Side base camp. His decision to take on Everest again was to find closure to what happened in 1996. He is currently on his way to the top of Mt. Everest and we wish him the very best!
