Nepal qualifies for AFC Challenge Cup Football

Nepal are through to the finals of AFC Challenge Cup Football after finishing their third match of Group D against Sri Lanka in a goalless draw at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu. They had earlier lost to North Korea 0-1 and beaten Afghanistan 1-0. The DPR Korea led the standings with maximum nine points while Nepal remained second with four points. Nepal and North Korea join Palestine, Philippines, Maldives, Tajikistan, India and Turkmenistan for the finals.
