Back to Square One in Nepali Politics

With Ram Chandra Paudel finally withdrawing his nomination after 16 losses in the Prime Ministerial elections, we are back to square one. Pushpa Kamal Dahal has immediately laid claims for the post of the PM as the leader of the largest party in the Constituent Assembly. Similarly, UML's Jhalanath Khanal who is also hopes to become PM has stated that the other political parties should give credit to the positive role played by the UML. Isn't it ironic that six months ago when Madhav Kumar Nepal stepped down from the post of the Prime Minister, these three candidates' names were proposed for the vacant post. After six months of failure, these three likely to be proposed again as the candidates for the still vacant post. How about giving somebody else a chance? Where else could you expect this but Nepal?
