3 major Parties have 4 options to choose from, or is it just 2?

The three major political parties - Unified CPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC) and UML - are mulling on four options to form a new government. The proposed four options are a national unity government led by UCPN (Maoist), a national unity government with rotational leadership, a presidium and a majority government without UCPN (Maoist).

Of these, the last is not really an option because if  it were, Nepali Congress and UML would already have elected Ram Chandra Paudel in 16 rounds of voting. The second last option is also not really an option since it means admitting failure which is highly unlikely!

So essentially, they have two realistic options to choose from - form a national unity government led by UCPN (Maoist) or form a national unity government with rotational leadership. Time will tell which option the leaders choose.
