Should Ma. Ku. Ne remain the Prime Minister of Nepal?

I'm watching the press announcement of the two Independents who decided to support Gillard's Labour Party to form the new Government of Australia. The reason as to why they decided to support Julia Gillard instead of Tony Abbott, (as given by one of the members) was that they decided to support the party which was more likely to lose the election should a re-election be held. Why? So that the Government runs the full 3 years and there is no early election.

Going by that argument, shouldn't the Nepal Parliament also decide to continue with Madhav Kumar Nepal and focus all its energy on the Constitution Writing Process?
